Dr. Carolyn Clark has been a Board Certified Pediatrician since 1997. She began her professional career as a high school teacher after graduating from Rhode Island College Summa Cum Laude. She earned her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in North Carolina. She completed her residency training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio. Dr. Clark serves as the medical director for Indian Rock Camp, Camp Carlson, and the Cadet Police Academy. When parents ask Dr. Clark how many children she has, she always answers “7000, because I treat all of your children like they are my own”.
Dr. Holland is a Board Certified Pediatrician, in practice since 2001. Dr. Holland grew up in New York City and graduated from Columbia University with a B.S. in Biology, attended medical school at St. George’s University, and completed his pediatric residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt, Columbia University. He has been with Pediatric Associates since 2008. In addition to private practice, he has experience working as a pediatric hospitalist. He is currently a preceptor for medical students from the University of Connecticut and Quinnipiac University. He has been an author of pediatric board questions.
He has a special interest in genetics, asthma and ADHD. Dr. Holland enjoys being a dad, watching hockey, watching his kids play hockey, but it is notable that he can’t skate.
Dr. Loomis grew up in Connecticut, and has been caring for children in the area since 2001. She earned her bachelor’s degree from McGill University, and her medical degree from University of Connecticut. She then completed her training and chief resident year at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
Dr. Loomis loves partnering with parents through he journey of childhood and adolescence. She has a special interest in breastfeeding, adolescent and sports medicine. She loves being a mom to three children and in her spare time she serves on medical staff at YMCA Camp Woodstock, and plays ice hockey.
Dr. Schiff grew up in Connecticut. She has been practicing at Pediatric Associates in Bristol since 2005. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University in 1998. She earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2002 before completing her Pediatric Residency at The Children’s Hospital of Boston in 2005. In 2021, Dr. Schiff was awarded Community Pediatrician of the Year by Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Schiff enjoys her career as a pediatrician in her community and is currently a preceptor for a medical student from The University of Connecticut Medical School.
She has an interest in adolescent medicine. She loves being a mom to two daughters and in her spare time enjoys reading and jogging.
Dr. Mastrocola grew up in Connecticut. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut where he developed his interests in science, medicine and teaching. He earned his PhD from the University of Connecticut and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a research focus on cancer biology. He worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Connecticut College teaching Biochemistry before returning to the University of Connecticut where he earned his medical degree. He completed his training in Pediatrics at Connecticut Children’s Hospital in 2022.
Dr. Mastrocola is excited to continue his career caring for children here in Connecticut. He has an interest in genetics, behavior and development, and asthma. He is happily married and a father to two wonderful children. In his spare time he enjoys playing guitar, hiking and camping.
