🧑🏻⚕️✨ Spotted at Hot Topics in Pediatrics 2025! Our very own Dr. Loomis had the chance to meet the most magical pediatrician of all — Dr. Mickey Mouse! 🐭🩺
This national conference brings together pediatric professionals from around the country to stay at the forefront of child health—and Dr. Loomis is proudly representing our practice, learning the latest to bring back to our families. 💙
We are SO excited to announce the winner of our pediatric office art contest… 7-year-old Myla! 🧡💛💙
Myla wowed us with her beautiful painting of a sunset with a sailboat, capturing the calm and wonder of summertime on the water. 🌅⛵️ Her creativity and eye for color blew us away!
Stop by our office to see her artwork proudly displayed — and be sure to give her a big round of applause in the comments! 👏✨
☀️🩺 Summer Safety Tips You Might Not Know (But Should!) 🩺☀️ We all know about sunscreen and hydration, but here are some lesser-known summer health tips to help your kids stay safe and healthy all season long:
🧴 1. Check Expiration Dates on Sunscreen Sunscreen loses its effectiveness over time. Make sure last summer’s bottle is still good — expired sunscreen won’t protect your child’s skin!
🍓 2. Wash Fresh Summer Fruits Thoroughly Berries, melons, and other fruits are summer staples — but they can carry bacteria if not washed properly, especially when eaten on the go.
🦠 3. Watch Out for Hot Weather Illnesses If your child suddenly feels dizzy, weak, or nauseous during outdoor play, it could be heat exhaustion. Move them to shade, offer cool water, and rest immediately.
👃 4. Allergies Don’t Take a Summer Break Pollen, grass, and even pool chemicals can trigger allergies. Talk to us if your child is sneezing, itching, or congested — we can help with relief options!
👂 5. Dry Those Ears! Frequent swimming? Remind your kids to dry their ears well after every dip to help prevent swimmer’s ear, a painful ear infection that’s common in summer.
At Pediatric Associates, we’re here to keep your family healthy and having fun all summer long! ☀️😎 Need to schedule a visit? Give us a call!
🎆🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from Pediatric Associates! 🇺🇸🎆
As we celebrate this day of freedom, fireworks, and fun, we want to wish all of our families a safe and joyful Independence Day!
Here are a few quick 4th of July safety tips to help keep your little ones safe during the festivities:
🧨 Firework Safety Leave fireworks to the pros! Sparklers can burn at 1,200°F — hot enough to cause serious burns. Glow sticks are a fun and safe alternative for young kids! ✨
🍉 Hydration & Heat Spending the day outdoors? Keep the kids cool with plenty of water, shade breaks, and sunscreen (SPF 30+).
🍔 Grill Safely Keep children away from hot grills and always have a designated adult supervising.
🛶 Water Watch Heading to the pool, lake, or beach? Make sure little swimmers are always within arm’s reach and wearing life jackets if needed.
🎇 Let’s make this holiday one to remember — filled with laughter, family time, and safe summer fun!
We are excited to welcome Marisa to Pediatric Associates as our new Integrated Behavioral Health Specialist! 💙 With her compassionate approach and dedication to supporting children and families, Marisa will be a wonderful addition to our care team.
